Small business owner is establishing a niche-market talent agency (search firm, job placement, direct hire), for launch in September 2016 (the position is available within 2 weeks from offer).  The owner seeks a part time recruiter with specific experience with a temp/direct hire agency as a recruiter/interviewer, administration or operations.  Must have competency in MS Office products, a zest for filling the applicant database pool, matching up great companies with stellar applicants, and possess a true heart for helping a growing business succeed.

Applicant will place ads, answer calls, screen resumes, greet applicants, and coordinate applicant testing, drug-screening, check backgrounds, references and test results for applicants.  Brea/Yorba Linda location.  Hours will be:   M – F from 9 – 2 daily  + one evening a week (TBD on a mutual schedule) from 5pm to 8pm + one Saturday each month from 9 – 2.  Send resume and salary history to recruiter @

 30-40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required.

 Usually vary between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.   Some weekends/evenings required.


Job Responsibilities:

 Perform on-site production services safely, including water extraction, asbestos removal, mold and fire cleanup.

 Drive the SERVPRO work truck.


Other Responsibilities:

 Maintain excellent attendance and be on time always

 Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

 Develop production expertise: services, cleaning products, and equipment.

 Follow the SERVPRO® uniform policy.


Minimum Requirements:

 Speak English or Spanish fluently.

 Have the ability to legally accept work in the United States.

 Must have a professional appearance and great attitude.  Because we can train on everything else!

 A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.

 Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft.

 Must be able to pass a drug test and medical “fit-for-duty” exam.

 Because we provide 24-hour emergency service, must be willing to be on call when needed.

 Some night and weekend work is required when scheduled to be on call.

 Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

 Must be able to work in a team or on a crew, or independently.


Pay Rate

What is your level of experience?  We will pay DOE (Depending on Experience):

* $10-12 per hour for light experience with demolition, clean-up and janitorial

* $12-14 per hour for minimum experience in a water/fire/mold/asbestos crew

* $13-15 with minimal experience in a crew lead position

Possibility of overtime pay and increases, and promotions to supervisor, based on merit and performance.
